As a young nonprofit, you learn a lot!
Since our beginnings in 2020, the journey of growing what is now a cooperative has been both a blessing and a challenge. What started with just a few classes and fun meet-ups grew into the Homeschool Shenanigans Group, and today, we are proud to be GCMHG, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Why We Exist
We believe in creating a space where homeschooling families can find friends, community, and extended family — where we play, go on trips, and learn together.
Our mission is to make hands-on classes, field trips, and events accessible to all families — especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
We started before manual groups and pop-up classes were common in our county. Today, we’re honored to have laid the groundwork for new experiences and lifelong friendships.
